Summary of Business

Visualizing the Value of Nature Through Data Technology
— An Okinawa-based startup fusing science and economics to create a Nature-Positive future

[Corporate Vision & Exhibition Background]
We are a Nature-Positive startup from Okinawa striving to foster Sustainable Societies: Valuing and Leveraging Investments in Natural Capital.

Our daily lives—from food, clothing, and shelter to general economic activities—depend deeply on the benefits provided by "natural capital," including biodiversity. However, until now, the degradation or preservation of natural capital has not been sufficiently quantified in terms of economic loss or benefit. This lack of quantification has presented a critical challenge to global socio-economic sustainability.

Think Nature addresses this challenge by combining vast academic knowledge with advanced data technologies. We are building a social infrastructure that empowers corporations, financial institutions, governments, and citizens to make informed decisions based on actionable, visualized nature data.

[Our Core Technologies & Strengths]
Our greatest strength lies in our ability to translate foundational science—such as biogeography and macroecology—and applied science—such as biodiversity conservation and systematic conservation planning—into high-resolution, operational insights for business contexts.

1. Advanced Analysis of Biodiversity Big Data
We process a comprehensive array of field observation data, including academic research, museum specimen records, environmental DNA (eDNA), bio-logging data, and drone/satellite remote sensing. Utilizing advanced statistical models and AI, we map global biodiversity and the "state of nature" at high spatiotemporal resolution.

2. Integrated Analysis with Socioeconomic Data
Going beyond ecological data, we integrate socioeconomic datasets such as logistics statistics, input-output tables, stock and futures trading information, and geopolitical risks. By cross-analyzing the "state of nature" with "industrial activities," we quantitatively evaluate corporate supply chain dependencies and impacts on nature, as well as associated financial risks and opportunities.

3. Delivery of Actionable Business Intelligence
Moving beyond mere data visualization, we provide concrete strategies and business intelligence that enable adaptation to global environmental crises, directly driving corporate value enhancement and informing strategic investment decisions.
