Summary of Business
TOKIDA KEORI Co., Ltd. is a textile manufacturer engaged in the planning, production, and sales of woven fabrics primarily for men’s and women’s suits. The company was founded in 1878 (the 11th year of the Meiji era) in Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture — the center of the Bishu textile region, renowned for its wool fabrics — and was formally established as a corporation in 1970 (the 45th year of the Showa era).
The company began modestly with just four handlooms, mainly producing made-to-order fabrics for men’s suits as a subcontractor. Over time, it expanded its capabilities and product range. Today, approximately 60% of TOKIDA KEORI’s production focuses on men’s fabrics — including suits and jackets — while 40% is dedicated to women’s wear. Notably, more than 90% of its men’s suit fabrics are original products designed and developed in-house.
As a proposal-oriented manufacturer and a company deeply rooted in craftsmanship, TOKIDA KEORI Co., Ltd. is committed to envisioning and creating a sustainable clothing culture that is kind to both people and the planet. Through innovation, design, and respect for tradition, the company continues to weave quality and sustainability into every fabric it produces.
