FAINDERS.AI is a company that provides retail-focused solutions centered on image recognition AI, guided by the mission of “delivering convenience to customers and increasing profitability for stores.” Founded in South Korea in 2020, the company develops and delivers AI-powered unmanned store solutions and AI self-checkout products based on advanced image recognition technology.

Its core offerings—AI self-checkout and AI unmanned store solutions—do not rely on barcodes or RFID. Instead, products are identified through image recognition AI, enabling labor-saving store operations and significantly reducing checkout wait times. These technologies enhance the customer experience while improving overall store operational efficiency.

In South Korea, FAINDERS.AI has built a strong track record through deployments with major convenience store chains, continuously refining and stabilizing its technology through real-world operations. In Singapore, the company has further expanded its global presence by deploying its solutions with retailers, including 7-Eleven.

Beginning in 2025, FAINDERS.AI accelerated its expansion into Japan with the establishment of FAINDERS.AI Japan. In the Japanese market, the company aims to address key retail challenges such as labor shortages and operational efficiency by delivering practical and deployable AI solutions. Currently, FAINDERS.AI is advancing market validation and implementation through pilot projects, including demonstration experiments at Tokyu Fudosan’s resort facilities.
